Shipping a new car to Cyprus

from Marchwood?

This is what a customer advises: E-mail (email is better as they never answer the phone, they just pick up the messages) Sealift Ops at DSCOM, Abbeywood. They will send you the paperwork to apply for shipping space on the freighter from Marchwood, which is free, although you may want to buy marine insurance.

However, if you have to use a commercial shipping service, read on:

If you are thinking of shipping a new car to Cyprus,

it pays to have someone in the know to help you!

For example......

How do we know if we're in good hands?

We have been shipping cars to British Forces based overseas for over 40 yrs. Now that we specialise in shipping cars to Cyprus, we know the procedure as well as anyone, and pride ourselves on offering the best possible service.

We now offer a choice of roll-on/roll-off or sealed container, FOR THE SAME PRICE!

Are there any hidden charges ?

ABSOLUTELY NONE! What  you pay in Limassol Port and on registration is explained below.

How about marine insurance? Is there any

excess to pay if I make a claim?

OUR SHIPPERS ARRANGE ALL-RISK MARINE INSURANCE WITH NO EXCESS IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM.

THE COST IS BASED ON THE VALUE OF YOUR CAR.

For example, on a car costing a total of £15000 including shipping, your marine insurance would be £170.

We've shopped around and can't find a better deal.

What happens when my car arrives in Limassol?

WE MEET YOU AT THE PORT (OR COLLECT YOU IF YOU ARE IN EPISKOPI OR AKROTIRI) AND GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. FROM COLLECTION TO REGISTRATION!

YOU CAN SIT BACK AND RELAX!

HOW MUCH DOES IT ALL COST?

On collecting your car from Limasol Port, you will be charged between €320 and €380, depending on the height of your vehicle, to cover shipping agent and port fees.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR OUR SERVICES IN CYPRUS.
